The catalyst for this was two fold.
Whilst engaging in the Data Security consultative process with our clients, the conversation would often veer in the direction of “Disaster Recovery” or “Business Continuity“. Clearly we knew what our clients were referring to but were not qualified to comment or assist. This became a source of frustration given that our customers were entrusting us to deploy sophisticated data security solutions, clearly an integral element of any coherent Business Continuity Plan.
Secondly, in response to increasing levels of business we were joined in October 2008 by Neil Hackett to assist us with efforts in new business sales. Neil brings twenty years of IT industry experience to Lucid having worked for managed solutions vendors and latterly ten years of sales and sales management experience within the Business Continuity arena. Neil’s knowledge of the Business Continuity marketplace and long formed relationships with trusted associates now facilitates the introduction of Business Continuity planning services to Lucid clients.
